We are actively searching for an HIM Technician . This position is responsible for a variety of tasks included in the Health Information Management Department such as: analysis of electronic medical record deficiencies, answering telephones, release of patient information, scanning, indexing, distribution of electronic charts/records, computer data entry, etc.
The ideal candidate must have a High School diploma or equivalent. Clerical and filing experience plus excellent computer skills is required. Successful completion of a medical terminology class and Medical/Dental/Healthcare office experience is preferred.

Salary range: $16.00/hour to $26.40/hour (credit given for relevant experience)
