Job Description
Professional Engineer and/or Civil Designer
We are seeking a Professional Engineer and/or Civil Designer to join our team in Berlin, Maryland.
Responsibilities:
- Perform civil engineering functions in support of site development design group
- General site design & land planning duties
- Technical work with strong capabilities in Civil 3D, MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
- Site design, site grading, stormwater management, sediment & erosion control, road & highway design, and utility design for residential, commercial, municipal, and institutional projects
Requirements:
- Associate or BS degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum of 4 years of design experience directly related to site/civil development projects
- Meets project and client deadlines
- Works in a timely fashion to meet project requirements
- Communicates effectively with clients, coworkers, sub consultants, and county/agency review staff
- Composes technical reports, permit documents, memorandums, and other written communication
- Handles multiple concurrent projects
- Proficiency in Civil3D; Civil 3D Certified Professional a plus
