The Atlantic Group has partnered with a global investment firm in the Greenwich, CT area. They have an immediate need for a Recruiter to join their team. This position is a full-time contract role with the possibility to become permanent.

The company is seeking a professional to join our team as a recruiter/recruiting coordinator. Simply put, talent attracts talent. This person will be the front lines of representing our talent and our values both for the lateral recruitment process as well as campus recruitment and will successfully demonstrate this by ensuring a positive, high quality candidate and client experience. You realize that every touch point is an opportunity to enhance the firm’s brand and demonstrate to potential employees we care. The junior recruiter will be thoughtful and consultative in their approach, focusing on the quality and caliber of targeted candidates. No task is too small, no challenge insurmountable.

 

Work Schedule: 9am-5pm. Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days work from home).

 

The Role

Recruiter work / Lateral and Campus

• Handle day to day sourcing and assessment of lateral hire candidates and campus candidates

• Interface with external recruiters daily regarding lateral searches

• Compile various reports as needed sometimes on a weekly and monthly basis

• Provide a high level of customer service to internal clients

• Provide an exceptional candidate experience to all applicants ensuring a positive impression of the company

• Maintain appropriate level of communication to all hiring managers, Recruiters, and HR Business Partners throughout the process

• Assist in ad hoc HR projects as needed

 

Recruiting coordinator work

• Obtain availability, create and post interview schedules and confirm all candidates

• Greet candidates, manage interview schedules and make appropriate scheduling changes as needed throughout the day

• Arrange travel and hotel accommodations for candidates

• Manage candidate reimbursements, recruiting vendor payments, and contract submission through Coupa expense system

• Maintain and update Applicant Tracking System (ATS) with resumes, applicant information, interview schedules and feedback

 

What this person will bring

• 2 years experience recruiting in house or on the agency side within financial services

• Good judgment, common sense, and self-awareness

• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to rapid changes gracefully

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment with accuracy and professionalism

• Ability to prioritize and keep clients informed throughout a search or process

• Ability to take direction and collaborate on how to best achieve success

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• High degree of professionalism

• Drive, motivation, and desire

• Prior knowledge of Greenhouse a plus

• Availability to work 40 hours per week (9am-5pm) and overtime as needed; willing to be accessible after hours
