Job Overview – Client Onboarding Associate (Hybrid):
Compensation: $90,000 – $125,000/year base ($130,000 – $140,000 All-In)
Location: Stamford, CT
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Atlantic Group is hiring a Client Onboarding Associate for our client in Stamford, CT (Hybrid). This role offers the opportunity to join a high-performing operations team within a leading asset management or hedge fund firm. You’ll manage complex onboarding events, lead cross-functional coordination with custodians and administrators, and enhance the client experience through scalable process improvements and in-depth product knowledge across equity and derivatives markets.
Responsibilities as the Client Onboarding Associate:
- Project Management: Lead onboarding events including fund launches, terminations, strategy changes, and custody transitions.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Serve as the main point of contact between internal teams, brokers, custodians, and administrators.
- Client Communication: Manage client and stakeholder inquiries, ensuring timely updates and issue resolution.
- Operational Process Improvement: Identify and implement workflow efficiencies and scalable onboarding solutions.
- Documentation & Tracking: Oversee account setup, prepare documentation, and maintain accurate records using internal systems.
- Meeting Facilitation: Lead internal and client-facing meetings to align goals, timelines, and deliverables across teams.
Qualifications for the Client Onboarding Associate (Hybrid):
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- Experience: 3-7 years in operations or client onboarding within asset management, hedge funds, or investment banking.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel and SQL, with familiarity in proprietary onboarding platforms preferred.
- Product Knowledge: Deep understanding of equity and derivative products (OTC, FX, etc.) with experience supporting hedge fund operations or data strategy preferred.
- Skills & Attributes: Analytical and well-organized with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a process-oriented approach in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
