Job Overview – Compliance Associate / Senior Associate:
Our client is seeking a Compliance Associate / Senior Associate to join their compliance team in New York, NY, taking on a key role in managing core compliance functions. In this full-time position, you’ll handle diverse compliance tasks, ensuring the company stays aligned with industry regulations and internal policies.
Total Compensation: $200,000/year (All-In)
Location: New York, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday (In-Office)
Responsibilities as the Compliance Associate / Senior Associate:
- Code of Ethics: Oversee compliance with the firm’s Code of Ethics, including updates and ongoing monitoring.
- Trade Surveillance: Conduct trade surveillance to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Email Review: Perform regular email reviews to identify and mitigate potential compliance risks.
- Marketing Material: Review marketing materials and investor communications to ensure alignment with regulations and internal guidelines.
- Regulatory Updates: Stay current with industry rules and regulations, updating internal policies as needed.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Investor Relations team to ensure compliance across marketing and client-facing activities.
Qualifications for the Compliance Associate / Senior Associate:
- Experience: 3-8 years of Core Compliance experience, ideally within a hedge fund, private equity firm, or compliance consulting environment.
- Expertise: Familiarity with trade surveillance, marketing material review, and regulatory updates.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and organizational skills.
- Flexibility: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple responsibilities.
