What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controller/VP - Top Hedge Fund position at Atlantic Group?

You will have the opportunity to help al financial services firm. You will be working out of their NYC office (currently hybrid).
The ideal candidate will have 7-12 years of fund accounting OR audit (Big 4 public accounting firm) experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the review of the fund financials
- Be a key member helping out with the investor reporting process (month, quarter, and year-end close process)
- Go through performance/attribution reporting
- Help with the NAV, management/incentive fees, etc.
- Oversee the fund administrator and help with the annual audits
- Help he finance/treasury team with liquidity analysis, KPI's (IRR, AUM reporting, etc.), and complex valuations
- Have an analytical mindset and help out with process improvement initiatives/increasing efficiency
- Respond to investor requests and special projects as they arise
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or business at minimum
- 7 – 12 years of relevant experience in the accounting, finance, or commercial real estate fields
