Finance Associate/Senior Finance Associate

Our client in the Private Equity space is looking to bring on a Finance Associate to join their team!

DETAILS:

• Position: Finance Associate/Senior Finance Associate
• Location: Boston, Ma
• Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in office)
• Compensation: $80K - $110K Bonus

REQUIRED TO APPLY:

• BS of Accounting or Finance Required
• GPA of 3.2 or higher required
• 1-4 years of Big 4 experience with financial services clients required

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Oversee the preparation of quarterly financial statements on a US GAAP basis.
• Assist with the annual US GAAP audit process, working closely with auditors to ensure accurate reporting.
• Support the preparation of annual tax basis financial statements, coordinating with the internal tax team and external advisors to address complex investment transaction tax implications.
• Manage cash flow, including overseeing capital calls, as well as cash and stock distributions to investors.
• Review and analyze portfolio company financial statements in preparation for quarterly partner review meetings.
• Collaborate with partners to assist in preparing quarterly valuations of portfolio companies, and compile summarized data for investor presentations.
• Respond to inquiries from limited partners and their representatives via email and phone.
• Partner with the Investor Relations team to prepare presentation materials, update information on the investor portal, and assist with fundraising documentation.
• Assist in documenting and understanding investment transactions, collaborating with deal teams and external advisors on deal closings and exits.
• Analyze fund activities to ensure adherence to partnership agreements and regulatory compliance.
• Work closely with the CFO or Finance Director on special projects aimed at improving the efficiency and output of the finance team, department, and firm.
• Assist with various ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed by the team or senior management.
