Reporting to the CFO, you will help scale financial operations, implement portfolio monitoring systems, and support investment decisions across portfolio companies.
Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000/year bonus
Location: Greenwich, CT
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Responsibilities as the Financial Operations Associate (Private Equity):
- System Implementation: Develop portfolio monitoring systems, reporting templates, and financial workflows.
- Portfolio Operations: Optimize financial reporting, funding processes, and governance frameworks.
- Investment Support: Manage cap tables, equity documentation, and due diligence analysis.
- Deal Execution: Support portfolio company onboarding and financial integration.
- Board & Compliance Coordination: Prepare materials for board meetings and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Operational Efficiency: Work with the CFO to improve reporting accuracy and streamline firm-wide operations.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field required.
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in Big 4 Transaction Advisory, Audit, or Fund Administration/Operations.
- Certification: CPA preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced Microsoft Office skills with experience in financial systems, automation tools, SQL, Tableau, and equity management platforms like Carta.
- Skills & Attributes: Detail-oriented and process-driven with strong problem-solving skills, able to work independently in a fast-paced investment environment.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of private equity, venture capital, and fund structures preferred.
