What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hedge Fund Operations Associate position at Atlantic Group?

Primary Responsibilities:
- Play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless trade support and accurate transaction processing
- Leverage extensive middle office expertise from both buy-side and sell-side environments, particularly within credit default swaps (CDS), equity total return swaps (TRS), and fixed income securities
- Design and implement operational frameworks for new investment strategies
- Manage end-to-end operational workflows autonomously, with discernment for when to escalate issues
- Perform daily reconciliations of trades, positions, and cash with external entities such as prime brokers, custodians, counterparties, and financial institutions
- Uphold data accuracy, including managing security master records, fee and commission schedules, and market holiday calendars
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for operational processes and systems
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to the settlement of equities, fixed income instruments, and listed derivatives
- Oversee daily profit and loss reporting, identifying and addressing anomalies that could impact financial outcomes
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- 6 years of hands-on experience in financial operations within a hedge fund environment
- Proven track record in process development and project management from initiation through execution
- In-depth knowledge of corporate bonds, CDS, equity TRS, and OTC derivatives, including lifecycle management
- Understanding of corporate actions affecting equities and bonds, such as stock splits and spin-offs
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with traders and portfolio managers
- Proficiency with Enfusion Order Management and Portfolio Management Systems is highly desirable
