Join our real estate client as a Human Resource Specialist in White Plains, NY, and play a key role in overseeing payroll administration, benefits management, compliance reporting, and employee lifecycle support. This hybrid position requires expertise in HR operations and payroll processing to drive efficiency and maintain compliance across all human resources functions.
Compensation: $65,000 – $85,000/year bonus
Location: White Plains, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Responsibilities as the Human Resource Specialist:
- Payroll & Benefits: Manage bi-weekly payroll processing and administer employee benefits while ensuring compliance.
- HRIS Management: Maintain the HRIS system, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data accuracy.
- Compliance & Reporting: Assist with SOX, Worker’s Compensation, 401(k) audits, AAP, and EEO-1 reporting.
- Employee Relations & Onboarding: Facilitate new hire onboarding, compliance documentation, and offboarding.
- Performance & Recruitment Support: Assist with performance reviews, job postings, offer letters, and background checks.
- Internship & HR Data Management: Oversee internship program logistics and generate HR reports for data analysis.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- Experience: 2-4 years of HR operations experience, including payroll processing and benefits administration.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now preferred; strong Excel, Word, and Outlook skills required.
- Skills and Attributes: Organized, detail-oriented, and efficient, with strong communication, executive presence, and a commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
