Interim Accounting Consultant – Mount Laurel, NJ (Onsite)

We are seeking a highly skilled Interim Accounting Consultant to join our team on a temporary basis in Mount Laurel, NJ. In this critical role, you will leverage your accounting expertise to support financial reporting, month-end and year-end close processes, and ensure the accurate and efficient handling of general ledger transactions and account reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and resolve discrepancies in bank reconciliations.
• Reconcile expense accounts and generate related reports.
• Review and reconcile monthly credit card transactions.
• Record cash receipts, disbursements, and consolidated payroll transactions.
• Lead and assist with account reconciliations, including cash, prepaid expenses, accounts payable, accrued expenses, debt, and related expense accounts.
• Maintain and reconcile fixed asset and intangible asset registers across the organization.
• Oversee lease accounting in compliance with .
• Support and execute critical tasks in the month-end close process.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of accounting experience is required.
• CPA Preferred
• Bachelor's in Accounting or Related field Required
• Demonstrated expertise in month-end close processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Teams) is essential.
• Supervisory experience is a plus but not required.
