What are the responsibilities and job description for the Real Estate Portfolio Management/FP&A position at Atlantic Group?
A top Real Estate PE Fund is looking to bring on a VP withing Portfolio Management and FP&A. The idea candidate will be working in a Portfolio Management role at a RE Fund Or have RE Valuations experience from a 3rd party.
Total compensation is up to 180k base and 240k total cash
Portfolio Strategy & Performance: Develop and implement strategic plans for the assigned portfolio, focusing on maximizing returns and achieving investment objectives. Monitor portfolio performance against benchmarks and identify areas for improvement.
Financial Oversight: Oversee the financial performance of the portfolio, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Review and approve property-level budgets and capital expenditure requests.
Capital Allocation: Work on capital allocations/waterfalls for a wide range of funds
Valuation Management: Oversee the valuation process for portfolio assets, ensuring accurate and timely valuations using various methodologies (DCF, Comparable Sales, Cost Approach). Review and interpret appraisal reports, and challenge assumptions as needed.
Asset Management Collaboration: Work closely with asset management teams to develop and implement property-level strategies, including leasing, property improvements, and dispositions.
Investment Analysis & Due Diligence: Participate in the investment process for new acquisitions, providing portfolio-level insights and contributing to due diligence efforts.
Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks within various real estate sectors and their potential impact on the portfolio.
Reporting & Communication: Prepare and present portfolio performance reports to senior management and investors. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Team Leadership & Mentorship: Mentor and develop junior team members, providing guidance and support.
Ad-hoc Projects: Perform ad-hoc analysis and projects as required by senior management.
Salary : $150,000 - $200,000
