Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and perform general ledger accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and SOX requirements.
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations for monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
- Support the consolidation and financial reporting processes for a publicly traded company.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure proper inventory accounting, including cost analysis and valuation.
- Maintain and enhance SAP ERP system processes related to general ledger and inventory transactions.
- Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Support process improvements to optimize efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
Qualifications
- 3 years of general ledger accounting experience, preferably in a publicly traded company.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards.
- Hands-on experience with SAP ERP and inventory accounting.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA is a plus.
