Job Overview – Senior Reporting Accountant (Hybrid):

Join our client as a Senior Reporting Accountant in Wilmington, DE, where you will play a key role in managing SOX compliance and financial reporting processes. In this hybrid position, you will oversee internal controls, support financial reporting, and collaborate on budgeting, forecasting, and special projects. This role offers the opportunity to enhance reporting accuracy, streamline compliance efforts, and contribute to strategic financial initiatives.

Compensation: $100,000 - $115,000/year bonus

Location: Wilmington, DE

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

Responsibilities as the Senior Reporting Accountant:

• SOX Compliance & Internal Controls: Oversee documentation, training, and testing for global financial reporting controls.
• Financial Reporting: Assist with internal monthly financial reports and quarterly SEC filings.
• Technical Accounting & Policies: Support documentation of accounting policies and technical memos.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Participate in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
• Audit Support: Coordinate with external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits.
• Special Projects: Contribute to finance-related initiatives, process improvements, and ad hoc projects.

Qualifications for the Senior Reporting Accountant:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• Licensure: CPA required.
• Experience: 4 years of progressive accounting experience, with a preference for public accounting.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SOX 404, and accounting software (SAP, Hyperion, AuditBoard).
• Skills & Attributes: Detail-oriented, organized, and analytical, with strong problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
