What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Accountant (Hedge Fund) position at Atlantic Group?
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Prepares monthly balance sheets, journal entries, income statements, and profit and loss statements.
- Maintains the general ledger.
- Codes invoices, sets up new accounts, reconciles accounts, and month-end close.
- Reconciles bank accounts at least monthly, verifies deposits, and addresses inquiries from banks.
- Provides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit.
- Maintains knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, or related field, required.
- 1-3 years' experience in general accounting.
Salary : $80,000 - $85,000
