We are looking for a Medical Assistant at Atlantic Internal Medicine & Pediatrics! We are a medical practice taking care of patients of all ages.
Responsibilities
Main responsibilities will be helping with patient flow through the office. After check in, you would obtain vital signs, review the medication list and get patient into a room before seeing the provider. After the patient's time with the clinician, there may be point of care testing, vaccinations before turning over the room. You would help with calling patients with lab results, but only if there is good news to share. There would be administrative work as well, such as monitoring supplies in rooms, vaccine management and assisting with confirming appointments.
Qualifications
New or experienced applicants welcome, either LMA or CMA.
