AMI is seeking Part time, 24 Hour per Week Call Center Administrative Support representatives to join the Scheduling team in the Vineland office on Sherman Avenue.
Part time, 20 hour per week positions at AMI are eligible for Paid Time Off (PTO), Holidays, 401k & Profit Sharing.
The Call Center Administrative Support team member is responsible for processing incoming orders from various, incoming platforms, including, but not limited to Fuji, Cerner, NJ Shine, electronic faxes, and secure emails. Additionally, this team member is responsible for making outbound calls on applicable STAT order requests. The employee maintains and retrieves patient records and ensures that the records are processed timely. The Call Center Administrative Support employee adheres to HIPAA rules and regulations when managing patient records and always demonstrates and maintains Patient Confidentiality.
The Call Center - Administrative Support employee is responsible for, but not limited to:
- Managing daily Worklist, Tasklist, and Document Worklist;
- Manages and processes incoming order requests for imaging in electronic format, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to laws, regulations, and company policies at all times;
- Accesses multiple platforms to verify patient demographics and verify order accuracy;
- Communicates with respective AMI team members, including other Call Center-Administrative Support team members and Office Administrators, in a coordinated effort to schedule exams in a timely manner;
- Pulls and processes orders received via NJ Shine or secure emailed orders;
- Assigns and creates orders received via electronic fax;
- Edits and makes updates to existing electronic orders received in Fuji;
- Respects and maintains privacy and dignity of patient's records, assures Patient Confidentiality, and Always maintains HIPAA standards;
- When making outbound calls, ensures accuracy in processing and order execution, while demonstrating exceptional customer service; and
- Performs other duties as assigned.
This Part time, 24 hour per week position is based in AMI's Vineland, NJ office location on Sherman Avenue. This position will assume a hybrid (on-site and remote) schedule following the completion of training. All training is completed on site.
The work schedule includes:
Monday, Tuesday, and Friday 9am-5:30pm
Schedules are subject to change based on department needs.
Eligible candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of one (1) year of medical office work experience. A basic knowledge of medical terminology or some anatomy coursework is strongly preferred. Candidates must be well-versed in Microsoft Office, with a working knowledge of EMR systems and other medical-related software. Experience with Fuji RIS is strongly preferred. A demonstrated experience with email systems and electronic faxes is required.
Candidates must be able to adapt quickly to evolving processes, changing technologies, and environments. To be successful in this position, candidate must be highly organized, with strong attention to detail, and have the ability to prioritize competing tasks. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required. Qualified candidates are able to work independently while also functioning as an effective team member, with a willingness to communicate and collaborate.
