The AMI Vascular Institute is seeking Per Diem Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologists to join our teams in the Vascular Institute offices in Toms River and Brick!
At AMI, our technologists assist with a variety of procedures, assist in patient preparation, and oversee the coordination of supplies and equipment.
Responsibilities of the Interventional Radiology Technologist include, but are not limited to:
- Assists physicians with complex vascular procedures;
- Assistance with the overall patient schedule flow;
- Aids Nurses and other staff in consultations; and
- Any other duties as required and assigned.
This position will provide coverage in the AMI Toms River and Brick Vascular Institutes. Shift coverage opportunities are Monday-Friday, day shifts. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs.
Qualifications
Eligible candidates are ARRT certified and have hands-on experience in the areas of interventional radiology, cardiac catheterization lab, or other endovascular experience. Qualified candidates must also have a New Jersey X-ray License. American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross CPR/BLS certification is required (must include hands-on instruction) prior to the start of employment. Candidates must be flexible with day shifts and with potential rotation to our other offices.
