Position Summary: You will help process outbound customer orders, picking, packing, labeling as well as unloading and palletizing incoming floor loaded containers and truckloads. May also assist in outgoing small package shipments and any other warehouse activities as needed.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Understands and executes all shipments properly without error. Takes into account specialized or customer unique shipping requirements.
- Safely operate typical warehousing equipment such as fork lifts and stretch wrapping machines
- Interface with other departments on an as needed basis to work to address any shipping issues or unique challenges that impact warehousing and shipping functions
- Accurately count and inspect both inbound and outbound orders
- Deal directly with carriers to schedule pick-ups and deliveries
- Insure all shipping and receiving paperwork is properly reviewed and processed
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications required:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three months related experience

Qualifications desired:
- Forklift experience and certification a plus.

Job Type: Full Time first shift position Monday thru Friday between 7:30am and 4:00pm
