We are expanding our brokerage division and seeking a motivated Yacht Broker to join our team.
Job Summary:We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Yacht Broker to facilitate the buying and selling of high-quality pre-owned yachts and boats. This role requires strong sales and negotiation skills, a passion for the boating lifestyle, and a commitment to providing top-tier customer service. As a Yacht Broker, you will work closely with clients to market listings, conduct showings, and manage transactions from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain relationships with boat buyers, sellers, and industry professionals.
- List and market pre-owned yachts and boats, including creating engaging listings, coordinating photography, and utilizing digital marketing strategies.
- Conduct yacht showings, sea trials, and surveys to assist clients in making informed purchasing decisions.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activity, and industry regulations.
- Negotiate contracts and oversee the sales process to ensure smooth and successful transactions.
- Represent Atlantic Outboard at boat shows, networking events, and on-water demonstrations.
- Collaborate with the service and sales teams to provide comprehensive customer support.
- Previous experience in yacht brokerage, boat sales, or luxury sales preferred.
- Strong knowledge of boats, marine systems, and the boating industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated and results-driven with the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and travel as needed.
- Proficiency in CRM software, digital marketing, and social media marketing is a plus.
- U.S. Coast Guard Captain’s License or similar certification is a bonus.
