Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Piping Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical and piping systems and the ability to estimate costs accurately for projects in various industries. This role involves evaluating project specifications, preparing cost estimates, and collaborating with teams to deliver competitive bids.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze plans, specifications, and project requirements to develop accurate cost estimates for mechanical piping systems.
• Identify material, labor, and equipment needs for project scopes.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to gather necessary information.
• Prepare and submit detailed estimates, bid proposals, and project budgets.
• Assess risks and provide value-engineering solutions to optimize project costs.
• Maintain knowledge of market conditions, material costs, and labor rates.
• Update and manage estimation databases and tools for accuracy and efficiency.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client presentations as needed.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Piping Estimator or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of mechanical piping systems, materials, and construction processes.
• Proficiency in estimation software and tools.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various teams and clients.
