We are seeking a skilled and reliable Pipe Fitter & (General Forman) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in installing, assembling, fabricating, and maintaining piping systems used for industrial, commercial, and residential projects. This role requires a strong understanding of blueprints, piping systems, and safety protocols to ensure efficient and high-quality work.
Responsible for in organizing, assembling, creating, and maintaining mechanical piping systems that must withstand high pressure. These types of systems are usually industrial, include heating and cooling systems, and involve work with steam, ventilation, hydraulics, chemicals, and fuel.
Pipefitters work in welding.
Types of manipulation that a pipefitter will perform on pipes and metal include but are not limited to :
Threading, Grinding, Welding, Cutting, Rigging, Brazing, Soldering, Bending
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter or in a similar role.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and specifications.
- Proficiency in using tools and equipment such as pipe cutters, threading machines, and welders.
- Strong knowledge of piping systems and materials, including PVC, steel, copper, and more.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including lifting heavy materials and working in confined spaces.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Optional] Certification in pipefitting or welding is a plus.
