Credit Support Specialist

Atlantic Packaging seeks a detail-oriented Credit Support Specialist to provide timely and efficient review of account credit status and new order releases. The Credit Support Specialist will be an integral part of the accounts receivable team, participating on various levels to support operations and sales efforts. This full-time position is located at our facility in Wilmington, NC.

About the Role - KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review credit status of customer accounts to determine eligibility of new orders.
• Release orders in a timely manner, after confirming satisfactory credit status.
• Contact customers regarding past due invoices and send account statements when necessary.
• Follow up as needed and note account with correspondence details.
• Place accounts with unsatisfactory credit status on hold for further review.
• Request and review customer POs to ensure correct terms, quantity, pricing, UOM, shipping & billing information.
• Provide support for customers and customer service representatives by providing invoice copies, PODs, and account information.
• Process credit cards for pre-pay and cash sale orders when necessary.
• Maintain sales and cash sale accounts; follow up on past dues, make needed adjustments.
• Maintain AR email and send in-depth questions to appropriate personnel.
• Answer incoming calls pertaining to sales orders and general AR questions.
