What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Desktop Support Specialist - 3+ Month Contract position at Atlantic Partners?
Our direct client is looking for a highly skilled Senior Desktop Support Specialist for a 3 month contract with possible extensions. This is an onsite opportunity for 5 days a week in San Francisco, CA. Please note that we do not disclose the name of the client unless we are submitting your resume.
The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of robust experience providing top-tier desktop technical support to senior-level executives and employees, ensuring a white glove service experience.
This role will primarily operate during daytime hours and will require quarterly travel to Los Angeles or Thousand Oaks for onsite support.
The hiring process will involve several MS Teams Technical Video Assessments.
We can only work on W2 (Green Card or Citizens only). No C2C, third-party arrangements, or offshore resources will be considered. We prefer local candidates.
Responsibilities Include :
- Resolving technical issues arising from hardware / software incidents for both onsite and remote users.
- Assisting with conference room technology, including pre-meeting testing and in-meeting troubleshooting.
- Supporting device installation / moves, managing print setup and troubleshooting, and configuring mobile devices.
- Documenting and tracking the status of client inquiries and ensuring timely responses and follow-ups for client satisfaction.
- Exercising judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate actions and escalating issues as necessary.
