Our client is looking for a Cardiology Editor responsible for assigning and editing medical news content specifically related to cardiology, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and relevance for a physician audience. This role is a contract position. The Cardiology Editor will be working closely with the Cardiology team and reporting to the Editorial Director. This position requires knowledge of the field of cardiology, solid editing skills, and attention to detail. This person must meet tight deadlines and collaborate with a large, fast-moving content team in a virtual environment.
Responsibilities :
- Brainstorm new, fresh, and creative angles in the field of Cardiology.
- Assign and edit Cardiology articles that appeal to a well-versed audience of cardiologists and other cardiology-related specialties.
- Work closely with our marketing teams to create interesting newsletters and promotional content.
- Work with our operations teams to get content published promptly.
- Find new, fresh, and creative angles to stories about various health conditions.
- Support the Cardiology and Campaigns teams on special projects.
