Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Warehouse Manager. The Warehouse Manager will direct and supervise staff and day-to-day warehouse operations, working hand and hand with the sales team. Consistently providing quality customer service and achievement of sales and productivity goals. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.

Additional requirements:
As a Warehouse Manager, you will oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including materials handling, inventory management, and order fulfillment. With core skills in supply chain management, inventory control, and warehouse management, you will lead a team in ensuring efficient and effective warehouse processes. Your premium skills in process improvement, operations management, and transportation planning will drive continuous enhancements in warehouse efficiency. Leveraging your relevant skills in forklift operation, materials management, and warehouse experience, you will play a key role in optimizing warehouse performance and meeting organizational goals. Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Hires and trains qualified candidates for entry-level roles.
- Oversees the day-to-day workflow of the warehouse.
- Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive, providing recommendations for promotion and salary adjustment as appropriate.
- Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks when appropriate.
- Train and provide Forklift Certification for warehouse employees.
- Schedule Truck & Forklift & Warehouse Maintenance and cleaning.
- Create / Implement new procedures to increase warehouse productivity.
- Fill in and adjust when needed.
- Monitor employees cell phone use.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Conducts regular staff meetings to ensure that goals and objectives are clearly communicated with WH staff; provides guidance and leadership to enable staff to meet goals and objectives.
- Identifies training needs and opportunities; develops and implements a plan for meeting those needs.
- Maintains and develops positive relationships with warehouse employees.
- Assists with development, and growth of new branches as needed.
- Actively communicate with AP to resolve PO discrepancies, and shortages.
- Schedule and manifest deliveries ensuring they are on time meeting customers expectations.
- Manage all warehouse inventory reports.
- Ensure POs and transfers are fully received and picked by end of day.
Education and Experience:
- High school degree or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years warehouse management/operations experience.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing, at times sitting and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs and safely climb stairs.
Company Policies:
Monday – Friday: 7AM – 5PM; Saturday: 8AM-1PM (rotation of staff, 2 per month)
Flexibility with schedule to ensure daily branch duties are completed before end of shift.
