Key Responsibilities
- Account Revival: Strategically engage with former accounts to identify opportunities for renewed business relationships.
- Account Growth: Partner with existing customers to increase sales through cross-selling, up-selling, and deepening client engagement.
- Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new customers, leveraging industry knowledge and networking to generate leads.
- Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers through consistent communication, on-site visits, and exceptional service.
- Sales Strategy Execution: Work closely with Outside Sales Reps, Product Specialists, and Purchasing to implement customer strategies and ensure accurate order processing, product availability, and on-time deliveries.
- CRM & Pipeline Management: Maintain detailed customer records and sales activity within the company’s centralized CRM system.
- Market & Product Expertise: Understand our full range of product offerings and competitive advantages compared to industry competitors.
- Problem-Solving & Support: Address customer concerns efficiently, working collaboratively with internal teams to resolve service or product issues.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a sales role, preferably in a building materials or wholesale distribution environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; further education in business, sales, or marketing is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and driven to achieve revenue growth targets.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced sales environment while balancing inside and outside responsibilities.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and closing skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and general computer literacy.
- Knowledge of building material products, pricing, warehousing/distribution, and transportation is beneficial.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
