Job Summary :
As a Processing Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for performing a variety of mechanical maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting tasks to ensure the continuous and reliable operation of our RAS facility's equipment and systems. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to maintaining optimal water quality, fish health, and overall facility performance
Job Description :
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on Processing equipment to identify potential issues and ensure optimal performance.
- Perform repairs and troubleshoot mechanical malfunctions, including mechanical systems and components.
- Assist in the installation, calibration, and replacement of new or upgraded mechanical equipment and components.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and repairs performed.
- Monitor and adjust water quality parameters such as temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen levels, and ammonia concentrations to ensure optimal conditions for salmon growth and health.
- Conduct routine sampling and testing of water quality parameters to assess system efficiency and adjust processes as needed.
- Respond promptly to facility emergencies and mechanical breakdowns to minimize downtime and prevent any adverse impacts on fish health and facility operations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures, safety protocols, and best practices to improve facility efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate with other team members and fish farmers to optimize facility performance, troubleshoot operational issues, and implement process improvements.
