Striping Crew Laborers

Our specialties include commercial asphalt maintenance and repair, concrete install and replacement, and new construction services.

We are currently looking for Striping crew laborers for our Sunrise Office.

The responsibilities will include:

• Performing tasks involving physical labor on commercial sealcoat, crack-fill, patching/paving and striping projects.
• Maintaining highway longline striping and pavement markings.
• Assist in the preparation and execution of striping projects, including measuring and marking areas for striping.
• Operate striping machines and hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Mix and prepare paint and other materials as needed for projects.
• Maintain a clean jobsite; pick up tools and equipment and secure jobsite each day in order to eliminate potential hazards.
• Properly block off, clean and prep parking lots for crack-seal, Sealcoat, Patching and Striping projects.
• Clean trucks and equipment daily.
• Ensure all tools are organized and accounted for daily.
• Installation and application of any other materials including line removal.
• May operate trucks to transport equipment to and from production sites as required and assist in the maintenance of all equipment.
• Other tasks/responsibilities will be a part of each job being assisted by a superintendent.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain safe work area and comply with safety procedures while performing the work.
• Conduct business at all times with the highest standards of personal, professional and ethical conduct.
• May participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, policies, and regulatory guidelines.
• Follow all policies and Standard Operating Procedures as instructed by Management.
• Follow direction of Superintendent as to daily tasks and expectations for each specific project or jobsite.
• Report any accidents/incidents to the Foreman, Superintendent, or Human Resources Manager.
• Perform or assist with any range of special projects, tasks and other related duties as assigned to maintain workflow and meet schedules.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalency required
• 1-2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have a Valid Driver’s license (Class A CDL is a plus)
