- Receive incoming calls from customers and vendors
- Remain up to date with current/projected cost from vendors
- Provide commercial roofing quotes for products requested on projects
- Request pricing from vendors
- Communicate with Mid-Atlantic outside sales staff
- Support sales department
- Gather information from construction documents (plans, specifications, addendums)
- Service a high volume of customers/requests
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Detail orientated
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, in particular)
- Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and scanners
- Ability to pick up new software quickly
- Exhibit a clear understanding of commercial roofing products and systems
- Ability to maintain sales margin
