Atlantic Staffing Consultants is now accepting resumes for experienced general laborers and forklift operators for a North Charleston, SC recycling facility.
This is a Temp-to-Hire Opportunity with Weekly Pay!
Duties of the General Laborer / Forklift Operator :
- Successfully complete forklift certification process with our client
- Operate forklift with care and with awareness of surrounding people and the environment
- Ensure the forklift is stored correctly, fueled, cleaned, maintained, and ready to operate
- Perform routine maintenance on forklift as needed
- Safely and effectively operate a baler.
- Follow and update inventory activity, lists, records, and log all completed tasks
- Move inventory and materials to proper locations throughout the facility
- Stack and organize large bulk items
- Move materials from facilities to workstations, pick-up locations, or other locations
- Make note and request any damaged parts or replacements needed
- Submit inventory records and log them at the close of the day
- Follow instructions regarding daily tasks and job duties
- Must become familiar with and adhere to all workplace safety rules and regulations
- Follow all forklift health and safety procedures and regulations as established by OSHA and any other governing bodies
- Perform general labor duties as required
- Perform other duties as required by management
