Stringed Instrument Sales Associate

Atlantic Strings Violin Shop is looking for experienced strings players or musicians for full-time sales associate positions! Part-time position also available.

Please state your musical instrument experience and for how long you played each instrument.

All applicants should have stringed instrument experience playing or working with bowed, stringed instruments (violin, viola, cello, upright bass). Previous sales experience is encouraged, but not mandatory.

Part-time job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Student through Master instrument rentals and sales
• Community and school event attendance
• Merchandising and stocking inventory
• Customer contact and communications
• Point of Sale data entry
• Maintaining overall appearance of show rooms and facilities
• Applicants interested in a Full-Time position will also be responsible for duties such as:
• Trade show preparation and attendance
• Opening and closing
• Inventory maintenance and ordering
• Qualified applicants should have the following skills and experience:
• Strong work ethic with focus on customer service and quality control
• Ability to sit or stand for extended period of time, must be able to lift over 20lbs

• Ability to accomplish tasks with minimum supervision
• Must have basic computer knowledge, proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and G-Suite preferred
• Good attitude and strong interpersonal skills; will be required to communicate effectively with customers, staff, and management
