Atlantic Sweeping and Cleaning, Inc. is the top Street Sweeping company in VA, DC and MD. Since 1977 this family-owned business has serviced municipalities, shopping centers, industrial sites and commercial properties with a wide range of pavement maintenance services. Currently offering Sweeping, pressure washing, flush trucks, dump trucks, snow removal, and soon to be adding asphalt and concrete repair services. Our fleet consists of over 40 trucks and many mid-sized equipment. Our service mix allows us to have full-time work year-round. We are currently looking for an Office Coordinator for our Sterling, VA office.
Responsibilities will include:
· Answer incoming customer calls and contact clients to know their scheduling needs to schedule accordingly.
· Dispatch vehicles and equipment to appropriate locations.
· Ensuring that work tickets are completed in a timely manner.
· Update customer information in our customer database.
· Updating call logs and recording call information.
· Develop efficient routes for the drivers and/or monitor any sudden route changes and work with drivers to establish new routes for timely arrival.
· Coordinating and communicating with the drivers throughout the day.
· Cultivate strong relationships with drivers and customers.
· Redirecting calls within the office.
· Routinely assist other employees and departments as directed.
· Assist with filing, scanning and organizing documents.
· Other duties as assigned.
Selected individual must:
- Have current or previous experience in working with scheduling/administrative tasks.
- Have a good understanding of modern technology, especially computers and programs.
- Have a valid driver’s license.
- Have attention to detail.
- Be reliable.
- Have effective communication skills.
- Be bilingual (fluent in English and Spanish).
- Pass pre-employment screening.

Pay: $20 - $22/hour
