Maintenance Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a comprehensive understanding of facilities management, ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning optimally. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance management, with a focus on both mechanical and electrical systems.

Duties

• Manage the daily operations of the maintenance department, ensuring timely completion of maintenance tasks.
• Oversee facilities management activities, including preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Fabricate and modify components as necessary to improve system performance.
• Utilize electrical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair low voltage systems.
• Apply mechanical knowledge to maintain and repair machinery and equipment.
• Use tools such as an ohmmeter to diagnose electrical issues effectively.
• Read and interpret schematics for various systems, ensuring accurate repairs and installations.
• Work with logic controllers to optimize equipment functionality.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Train and mentor maintenance staff, promoting a culture of safety and efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience in maintenance management or a similar role within an industrial setting.
• Strong background in facilities management, including both mechanical and electrical systems.
• Proficiency in fabricating components as needed for repairs or improvements.
• In-depth knowledge of low voltage electrical systems is preferred.
• Familiarity with using an ohmmeter and reading schematics is essential.
• Experience working with logic controllers is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
