We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter to diagnose electrical issues and ensure proper functionality of equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics to assist in troubleshooting and repairs.
- Operate and maintain Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory.
- Fabricate parts or components as needed to support maintenance tasks.
- Lead small teams during maintenance projects, providing guidance and support to ensure quality workmanship.
- Conduct residential painting tasks as required, ensuring high standards of finish.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems effectively.
- Familiarity with logic controllers is preferred.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical documentation.
- Ability to fabricate parts or components when necessary.
- Leadership skills with experience managing small teams is a plus.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail.
