Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Painter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for painting trailers and storage containers, ensuring high-quality finishes and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint, filling holes, sanding, and cleaning.
* Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
* Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape and paper to protect surfaces during painting.
* Paint trailer components including frames, wheels, axles, side panels, doors, and other parts.
* Paint storage containers ensuring a consistent and durable finish.
* Maintain and clean equipment, including brushes, rollers, and spray guns.
* Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
* Inspect painted surfaces for quality and make necessary touch-ups or corrections.
* Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure project specifications are met.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Painter, preferably with experience in painting drive-ins, trailers, and storage containers.
* Knowledge of painting techniques and materials.
* Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good physical condition and stamina to stand, climb, and work for long periods.
* Excellent communication skills.
* High school diploma or equivalent.
