Position Overview:We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Body Armor Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with firearms sales and/or service, bulletproof vests, tactical body armor, or a past career in the military or law enforcement. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent customer service skills who can accurately quote, measure, and place orders to meet department specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Quoting, Measuring, and Order Fulfillment:
- Accurately quote to department specifications and ensure compliance with all departmental requirements.
- Measure clients for body armor fittings to ensure a perfect fit.
- Place orders with wholesale vendors, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products.
- Oversee lifecycle from quote to delivery end-to-end.
Pipeline Management:
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospects, ensuring consistent follow-up and engagement.
- Build and nurture relationships with potential and existing clients to drive sales growth.
Sales Tracking and Analysis:
- Track and analyze sales data to identify trends and future opportunities.
- Provide regular reports and insights to management to support strategic decision-making.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and product innovations to offer the best solutions to clients.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience with firearms sales and/or service, bulletproof vests or tactical body armor.
- Past career in the military or law enforcement is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to present ideas and strategies in a clear and comprehensive manner.
- Strong understanding of state and municipal contract requirements and procurement processes preferred
- High degree of common sense and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using sales tracking and CRM software.
