Your Mission
As an Ophthalmic Technician I, you will collaborate closely with our Ophthalmologists and Optometrists to provide high-quality direct patient care. At Atlantic Vision Partners we invest in our employees by providing on-site training and paid certifications for continued growth

What You’ll Do
Obtain and document patient historyFollow office workup protocolsDetermine visual acuityPerform automated refractionAdminister eye drops, ointments, and irrigating solutions to the eye as ordered by a physicianPerform office duties and clinical tasks - enter data into EMR, provide patient servicesMeasurement of intraocular pressure (tonometry)Pre-operative preparation of patientMaintain equipment and instrumentsRequirements : What You Bring
Dependable transportation required to travel to other offices as requiredMust be flexible with traveling to various locationsAbility to pay attention to detailAbility to maintain confidentialityThe ability to seek instruction in areas where he / she is not knowledgeableThe ability to recognize inconsistenciesHigh School diploma or GED, associate degree preferred2 years of experience in eye care preferredAbility to perform essential functions of the position with or without accommodation, including the ability to use power hand tools and lift a minimum of 70 lbs.Excellent verbal communication skillsWillingness to submit to a background check (drug screen for Ambulatory Surgery Centers only)Benefits & Perks
