Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roll Off Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating roll off trucks to transport waste materials and debris from various job sites. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.
Duties
- Operate roll off trucks in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
- Load and unload containers at designated locations, utilizing proper techniques to prevent damage and ensure safety.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and any incidents that may occur during transport.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding schedules and any issues that arise.
- Assist in the maintenance of the truck by performing routine checks and reporting any mechanical issues.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license; experience with roll off trucks is preferred.
- Familiarity with various types of trucks including front loader, rear loader, dump truck, flatbed, and tractor-trailer is advantageous.
- Strong ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading and unloading materials.
- Excellent navigation skills and knowledge of local routes to ensure timely deliveries.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
- A commitment to safety protocols and practices while on the road and at job sites.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 – 65 per week
