We are a sustainable infrastructure company primarily focused on renewable energy assets. Our mission is to drive the transition towards a more sustainable world by investing in and managing sustainable infrastructure, while delivering long-term value to our investors and stakeholders.


Our current portfolio includes 40 renewable energy assets with a capacity of 2,048 MW, 343 MW of efficient natural gas-fired power, 1,229 miles of electric transmission lines, and other sustainable assets.


We are currently seeking for a Land Manager based in the Tempe, Arizona or Charlottesville, Virginia offices.


This position will be responsible for overseeing all land acquisition efforts, ensuring efficient and strategic purchases that align with company goals. This role involves coordinating land acquisition progress with business leaders, tracking and recording the performance of employees and consultants or land agents involved in the process, and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the land purchasing cycle. They will play a crucial role in securing and managing land assets, contributing to the company’s overall growth and success.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all land acquisition efforts, from identifying potential properties to obtaining site control for projects.
  • Maintain a portfolio of land leases and owned land throughout the United States and execute transactions or agreements to satisfy the development team’s strategic goals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with landowners, real estate professionals, and government agencies.
  • Coordinate and communicate land acquisition progress to business leaders and stakeholders.
  • Track and record employee progress related to land acquisitions, ensuring efficiency and accountability.
  • Oversee due diligence processes, including zoning, environmental assessments, and legal considerations.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding land purchases and development.
  • Monitor market trends and land values to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Manage budgets and financial forecasting for land acquisitions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including legal, finance, and development departments, to streamline land purchasing operations.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Urban Planning, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in land acquisition, real estate, or a related industry.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze market data and conduct feasibility studies.
  • Knowledge of land use regulations, zoning laws, and permitting processes.
  • Proficiency in project management and tracking tools.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in industry-specific experience, e.g., residential or commercial development.
  • Familiarity with GIS mapping and land management software.
  • Certification in real estate or land acquisition is a plus.
