POSITION SUMMARY:
The Child Care Family Worker is a member of the child care staff who works with families to assess individual needs for the child and family. The Family Worker locates necessary resources and continually evaluates the effectiveness of resource referrals. This position works closely with other members of the child care staff and school district staff as needed.
This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and cooperation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree in related field preferred.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: None Required
EXPERIENCE: 1-3 years experience working with children or community programs required. Knowledge of available community social service agencies and community resources preferred.
