About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at AtlantiCare. As a Cardiovascular Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in performing diagnostic testing and assisting with interventional procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic testing and assist with interventional procedures in accordance with established departmental procedures.
- Operate diagnostic equipment, including peripheral equipment, in a safe and efficient manner to obtain optimal test results.
- Manage patient care during diagnostic procedures to meet quality standards.
- Ensure supplies are maintained and report problems with equipment to appropriate staff members.
- Support Interventionalist by scrubbing in during procedures and documenting events.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited radiological technologist school required.
- Licensed by the State of New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP).
- Registry or Registry-Eligible American Registry of Radiology Technologist (ARRT).
- BLS for Healthcare Providers required; ACLS within 12 months from date of hire.
- 1-2 years interventional cardiology experience required.
- Peripheral experience preferred.
Work Environment:
- Potential for exposure to hospital environment hazards and risk.
- Considerable reaching, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
- Extensive standing and walking, including stairs.
- Lifting approximately 25-50 pounds frequently.
