Summary:
The Mold Maintenance Technician is responsible for safely performing essential duties associated with the job while maintaining a high-level quality and efficiency.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Great Attention to detail
- Work well with others
- Mechanically inclined
- Willingness to learn new things.
- Able to read calipers.
- Willing to get hands dirty
- Be able to disassemble and assemble different things properly
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Performs other tasks as directed by supervisor
- Familiarity with Machine tools such as lathes, Mills, grinders (preferred)
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None
Qualifications:
- Manual dexterity and coordination
- Ability to read and comprehend work instructions
- Ability to read blueprints (preferred)
- Knowledge of computer systems (Word, Excel)
Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma preferred
Mathematical Skills:
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
- Proficient in measuring in tenths with tools such a micrometers
Reasoning Ability
- Ability to recognize non-compliance to work standards and contact appropriate supervision or management staff
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- None required
Physical Demands:
- Extended hours standing and repetitive tasks
- Standing, sitting, walking, bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, lifting up to 75 pounds regularly
