Job Title: Google Workspace Migration Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Google Workspace Migration Specialist to support the JPMC M365 migration team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing expertise in Google Workspace (GWS) and assisting the JPMC team in the UK with all aspects of the migration process. This role involves answering questions, tweaking the Google Workspace setup, and ensuring a smooth transition for the employees of The Infatuation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert knowledge and support on Google Workspace (GWS) accounts, permissions, privileges, and current app usage.
- Assist the JPMC migration team in the UK by answering questions and providing solutions related to the Google Workspace setup.
- Collaborate with the JPMC M365 migration team to ensure a seamless transition from Google Workspace to M365.
- Conduct research and provide insights on the current email architecture and GWS app usage.
- Support end-users by determining use case scenarios (internal, external, mix) and addressing their concerns.
- Ensure that the migration process adheres to JPMC's security and compliance policies.
- Work closely with the JPMC internal team to manage user communication and notifications related to the migration.
- Provide recommendations for migration tools and strategies to facilitate the transition.
- Assist in the decommissioning of the legacy Google Workspace environment post-migration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing and migrating Google Workspace environments.
- Strong understanding of Google Workspace (GWS) accounts, permissions, privileges, and app usage.
- Familiarity with M365 and its integration with Google Workspace.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in providing technical support and training to end-users.
- Knowledge of security and compliance policies related to data migration.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with migration tools and strategies.
- Knowledge of third-party applications integrated with Google login.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and its migration to other analytics platforms.
- Understanding of data retention policies and historical data migration.
Additional Information:
