Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect incoming jewelry items to assess the cleaning requirements
- Utilize appropriate cleaning methods and solutions to remove dirt, grime, tarnish, and oxidation from jewelry surfaces without causing damage to precious metals, gemstones, or delicate components.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as ultrasonic cleaners, steam cleaners, and polishing machines effectively and safely to achieve optimal results.
- Perform intricate cleaning tasks by hand, using specialized brushes, cloths, and cleaning solutions to reach tight spaces and intricate designs.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure consistency and quality in the cleaning process while adhering to safety guidelines and best practices.
- Handle jewelry items with care and precision, taking precautions to prevent accidental damage or loss during the cleaning process.
- Inspect cleaned jewelry pieces to ensure they meet quality standards and are free from residue, streaks, or blemishes before proceeding to the next stage of the repair process.
