What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ink Technician / Screen Printing Company position at Atlantis Sportswear?
Screen printing company hiring for Ink Technician to provide support to all presses by ensuring they have materials ready when need and check with operators when problems arises with materials. Will be working 1st shift Monday thru Friday 7:30am-4pm working overtime as needed.
Job Duties will include
- Training of complete knowledge of our ink systems.
- Understand unique mixing requirements for each ink type and how their composition relates to print, cure and finish characteristics.
- Accurately measure and mix ink components efficiently.
- Work within various ink mixing software programs
- Stage inks to go on press.
- Keep ink department clean, organized and stocked.
- Cleaning of squeegees for the operation of the presses
Job Requirements
- lift up to 50 lb
- Stand entire shift
- Work with a variety of different chemicals as needed
- Strong math skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- HS/GED
- No Felonies or Theft Related Charges
