At ATLAS, we provide critical support to military operations by delivering expertise in joint operational planning and execution. We are seeking professionals for the JOPES Strategic Planner role to conduct research and analysis of full-spectrum operations, produce detailed operational products, and ensure synchronization with USCENTCOM objectives. If you have extensive experience with the Joint Operations Planning and Execution System (JOPES) and strategic-level planning, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research and analysis of joint, multinational, and interagency operations to support USCENTCOM’s mission.
- Develop detailed graphics, written analyses, and other operational products for the USCENTCOM Commander.
- Analyze DoD, interagency, and multinational operations to ensure synchronization with USCENTCOM objectives.
- Incorporate JOPES Time-Phased Force Deployment Data (TPFDD) into operational and strategic plans.
- Utilize automation tools and computer modeling resources to enhance operational analysis.
- Coordinate with USTRANSCOM to assess feasibility and alignment of planned missions.
Provide functional analysis of operational plans up to Level 4 detail.
Requirements
Required
Active TS / SCI Clearance
Minimum of 5 years of military experience.
At least 5 years of experience utilizing JOPES.
Minimum of 3 years working at a Joint or Combined Command Headquarters.
Desired
Expertise in TPFDD management and operational synchronization.
Experience producing high-level operational analyses and products for senior leadership.
Familiarity with automation and modeling tools for operational planning.
