Data Analysis & Process Solutions Intern

Overview

Enhances operational performance by crafting dashboards, forecasts, and reports. Coordinates and develops requisite data sources for comprehensive analysis. Engages in collaborative efforts with team members to execute data analysis and devise technological process enhancements. Leverages Microsoft Power Platform to integrate data into operational workflows and applications, while also innovating new workflows and applications. Undertakes diverse administrative tasks and offers supplemental support as required. Throughout the internship, students are anticipated to gain hands-on experience in resolving data manipulation and analysis challenges, alongside developing technological remedies for inefficient processes.

Responsibilities

Under close supervision:

• Collaborate in executing and deploying analytics projects.
• Prepare data for analysis by assisting in extraction and organization processes.
• Contribute creatively to the development of data strategies, addressing organizational, technical, and operational challenges.
• Conduct thorough testing of application performance and functionality, including quality assurance checks.
• Document all aspects of application development efforts, including changes, new functionalities, and issue/problem resolutions.
• Ensure coordination and follow-through on all assigned projects until completion.
• Undertake any other tasks as assigned, with specific activities varying based on assignment requirements.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in aviation management, computer science, data science, information systems, or a related discipline.
• Maintains a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Preferably possesses experience with Microsoft Power Platform, encompassing Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
• Proficiency in MS SQL or other database languages is desirable.
• Previous experience with SharePoint preferred.
• Tableau proficiency is a plus.
• Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Exhibits proficient time management skills.

Hourly Range:  $20.25 - $28.00 

Financial offer within the stated range will be based on multiple factors to include but not limited to location, relevant experience/level and skillset."
