The Manager of Ground Operations Training is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining the Company's ground operations training programs and for setting up, organizing, managing and coordinating the activities of the ground operations instructors, administrative staff and authorized training partners and representatives.
- Accountable for maintaining a competency-based training and assessment approach by providing focused training and proficiency techniques to guarantee a competent workforce.
- Responsible to set up a cost effective and resource efficient training schedule and evaluate instructor qualification, courseware development and resources allocation needs periodically.
- Responsible for maintaining training records, including tracking systems and databases to ensure accuracy, accessibility and compliance.
- Develop, maintain and continuously update standard operating procedures for the department's task and functions.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance training delivery methods, contents and materials, including computer-based training, online and virtual training solutions.
- Conduct on-the-job (OJT) training events, competency checks and assist with developing and executing supplemental training needs and activities.
- Produce training performance reports and improvement needs by data analysis to enhance training performance and to generate actionable insights and identify trends.
- Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration on training activities and external program facilitation undertakings.
- Assist in building culture, safety awareness and engagement across departments.
- Assist stakeholders performing internal audits and preparations for external regulatory or industry audits and certifications.
- Perform other duties as assigned and work on special teams and projects as required by management.
- High School degree required, or College degree preferred.
- Should have 5 - 7 years background with airline operations or aviation industry.
- Prior aircraft weight and balance, dangerous goods, special cargo, security training experience desired.
- Proven ability to lead and manage the activities of a diverse work force.
- Skilled problem solver with superior leadership qualities.
- Ability to lead a team.
- Computer literate and specific background in the required subject areas.
- Must possess personal integrity and administrative skills to handle changing regulations and requirements.
- Must demonstrate the desire and the ability to work in a collaborative team based, fast paced, high stress environment.
Special demands:
- Able to work shifts, nights, weekends, holidays, etc.
- Travel is required about 50% of the time.

Salary Range: $73,000-$98,500
