Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Network Administrator with 5 to 10 years of expertise to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in internet service provision, home internet networks, and infrastructure management. As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the network systems, ensuring secure and efficient internet service delivery to both residential and commercial customers, as well as overseeing the infrastructure that supports these services.

To support this trajectory, we are seeking a skilled Network Administrator to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:

• Network Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and manage robust networking infrastructures, including LAN, WAN, VPNs, and other critical network components.
• Internet Service Provision: Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of internet services for residential and business customers. Ensure a seamless internet experience with minimal downtime.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Provide advanced network troubleshooting for connectivity issues, performance bottlenecks, and configuration problems, both on-site and remotely.
• Home Internet Networks: Manage and optimize customer-facing networks including Wi-Fi setup, router management, troubleshooting, and ensuring high-quality service standards for home internet users.
• Network Security: Implement best practices for network security, including firewalls, encryption, and intrusion detection/prevention systems. Monitor network traffic for potential vulnerabilities and threats.
• Performance Monitoring: Regularly monitor network performance, conduct load balancing, and address bandwidth management to ensure optimal internet service delivery.
• Hardware & Software Management: Install, configure, and maintain network hardware such as switches, routers, and wireless access points. Ensure proper network software and firmware updates are applied.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, changes, and security protocols. Provide regular reports on network performance, incidents, and improvements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the IT team, engineers, and service providers to coordinate internet service upgrades, expansion, and troubleshooting efforts.
• Customer Interaction: Assist in the development of customer support procedures related to home internet issues, offering timely solutions and clear communication.

Required Qualifications:

• 5 to 10 years of experience in network administration, with a strong focus on internet service provision, home internet setups, and network infrastructure.
• Deep understanding of networking protocols, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, and OSPF.
• Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless technologies.
• Familiarity with internet service provision technologies like DSL, fiber optics, cable broadband, and satellite internet.
• Knowledge of common network management tools and software (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, Nagios).
• Proficient with network security tools, firewalls, VPNs, and best practices to mitigate threats and ensure secure services.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and service models (IaaS, PaaS) is a plus.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with a systematic approach to resolving complex network issues.
• Good working knowledge of Linux.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with home networking technologies (routers, modems, Wi-Fi, mesh networks).
• Ability to support and optimize ISP services with a focus on residential customer satisfaction.
• Strong communication skills to interact with customers, internal teams, and external vendors.
• Familiarity with VoIP, IPTV, and other internet-based services.
• Certification in network management (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network , or similar certifications).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay: $65,253.00 - $72,000.00 per year
